Reclaim yourself
through healing trauma

Welcome to Embodied Being Therapy.

Embodied Being recognizes that all human beings are born with an innate capacity to heal from traumatic events. Trauma is any experience that overwhelms your capacity to cope, to restore a sense of safety and to connect with yourself and others. When your body holds onto traumatic stress after the event has passed, it impacts your:

  • Heart: how you feel towards yourself and others

  • Mind: your beliefs about yourself and others, your thoughts and perceptions, and your view of the world at large

  • Soul: your sense of meaning, purpose and belonging

Embodied Being integrates evidence-based approaches to investigate and process the residue of trauma, unifying the body, mind, heart and soul to a whole, embodied being. Therapy here is a safe and non- judgmental space that welcomes you with warmth and acceptance, as you are and wherever you are. You will learn and practice tools that will help you to move past the trauma and forward with new meaning and purpose.
